The most usual rule is that a wild card can be used either to represent any card not already present in the hand, or to make the special combination of "five of a kind". Bob and Carol still each have two pair queens and eights , but both of them are now entitled to play the final ace as their fifth card, making their hands both two pair, queens and eights, with an ace kicker. Finally, if both pairs are the same, the odd cards are compared, so Q-Q beats Q-Q I will win the game, there will be no jackpot spin, and the box with all the stats does not come up. One person said that not all games are rated. Then the player who posted the small blind has the option to call or raise the bets so far.

If all five cards are equal, the flushes are equal. Straight Five cards of mixed suits in sequence - for example Q- 9- 8. When comparing two sequences, the one with the higher ranking top card is better. Three of a Kind Three cards of the same rank plus two unequal cards. This combination is also known as Triplets or Trips. When comparing two threes of a kind the rank of the three equal cards determines which is higher. If the sets of three are of equal rank, then the higher of the two remaining cards in each hand are compared, and if those are equal, the lower odd card is compared.
So for example beats K-5, which beats Q-9, which beats Q Two Pairs A pair consists of two cards of equal rank. In a hand with two pairs, the two pairs are of different ranks otherwise you would have four of a kind , and there is an odd card to make the hand up to five cards. When comparing hands with two pairs, the hand with the highest pair wins, irrespective of the rank of the other cards - so J-J beats because the jacks beat the tens.
If the higher pairs are equal, the lower pairs are compared, so that for example beats K. Finally, if both pairs are the same, the odd cards are compared, so Q-Q beats Q-Q Pair A hand with two cards of equal rank and three cards which are different from these and from each other. When comparing two such hands, the hand with the higher pair is better - so for example beats A-K-Q. If the pairs are equal, compare the highest ranking odd cards from each hand; if these are equal compare the second highest odd card, and if these are equal too compare the lowest odd cards.
Nothing Five cards which do not form any of the combinations listed above. This combination is often called High Card and sometimes No Pair. T cards must all be of different ranks, not consecutive, and contain at least two different suits. When comparing two such hands, the one with the better highest card wins.
M Hi all, lovers of night-time. In reality, the government's own research showed that the risk of getting AIDS from one act of heterosexual intercourse was less than the chance of getting hit by lightening. Not only did I not receive 20, tokens, Pogo charged me 10, tokens to play. So I explored playing in high rollers and amazingly it only took 3 or 4 winning hands to achieve the Desperado badge! You have to use the search box and type "Big" and it will come up, just select it and go. Are you looking in the right place? No other room has more than 15 players, while the Big Baby would generally be over That's a glitch that's been around for a while.
It seems to happen when the person in 2nd place leaves the game before the system has finished registering the win. There's no estimate on when Pogo might get it fixed. You could ask the players before the game starts to please stay until the win is registered but there is no guarantee they will listen to your request. This has happened several times. I will win the game, there will be no jackpot spin, and the box with all the stats does not come up.
It simply asks me if I want to play again. I asked in the game area. One person said that not all games are rated. Others said all games are rated, but it's a Pogo trick so I don't get credit for my stats.
I am very confused. Why did this happen, and do I still get my tokens? If it's a known Pogo trick, is another user doing this, and what do I do to protect myself? It's hard enough for me to win, let along get cheated. You would need someone to join you as you cannot play the bots.
I believe that this is the best NL SNG specific strategy book out there, with the book being packed with quality strategy and very informative hand examples. This isn't a book for complete novices, as it does require that you have some basic knowledge of SnG games and how to play poker.
However, I think that a beginner player should be able to digest the majority of information in this book. Overall, you're not going to find a better strategy book for Sit 'n Go poker games. For a big list of very useful and informative reviews on the majority of these books, check out the LV Revealed gambling book reviews. The user reviews on the Amazon site itself also do a very honest job of helping you find the better books.
If books are not really your thing, there is a handful of genuinely useful poker DVDs out there to buy. There are a load of really bad Texas Hold'em strategy ebooks out there, so be careful. Anybody can write an "ebook", claim it is the best strategy in the world and then sell it to the unsuspecting visitor. When it comes to poker ebooks, you are far better off going on recommendations as opposed to how good the sales page sounds. These are genuinely valuable ebooks with great strategic advice.
You are not going to find a more informative ebook with such great strategy anywhere else, and I highly recommend that every 6max player reads this book - it's a gem. A very useful chapter from this book is about understanding PokerTracker stats and how to play against opponents based on these stats. I don't believe that you will find a clearer guide to these stats anywhere else.
However, every player that has read this book will agree that it is great value for money, so you will not feel hard done by with the quality of strategy information provided.
